Subject: [Vantage] Epicor 9 Source Control and Versioning Options
Hello Everyone,
I am sure this has been discussed here, but I searched the conversations and did not find much information.
I was wondering what others are doing to source control and version their customization's, BPM's, BAQ's, and RDD's. I know that customization's, BPM's, and BAQ's can be exported out of Epicor as XML files which can then be controlled in whatever versioning software you want to use. I am unsure if you can do the same with RDD's.
I was also wondering if there was a more automated procedure. It seems a little tedious to have to check ut the XML, import the XML, make the change, export the XML, and check it back in.
Controlling all of these isn't too bad when you are the only developer, but when you have 2 or more the chance of overwrit ing someone else's code becomes an issue.
I would love your feedback.
