They are telling me a need to get a new domain name registered to point the new web traffic for ECC. In the end it would still point back to the same IP address for my main domain name. I was trying to figure out if I can just add a new DNS site to my current domain. Like www.mydomain.com takes users to my web site and ecc.mydomain.com would take them to ECC server. Would like to now what others have done. Do really want another domain name to take care of when it all points back to the same place. We have several subdomains whose web applications may reside on different servers. An Epicor example is Epicor Portal which we use for suppliers. Our main web traffic goes to www.mydomain.com and our suppliers go to suppliers.mydomain.com which is on separate hardware. --- ## Post #3 by @Tom_O In case anyone stumbles upon this later. Yes you can use sub domains with ECC. Just need to make sure your firewall can pass the traffic based on URL address. --- ## Post #4 by @an9res Buenas Tardes Tomo, Ya resolviste a tu solicitud? nosotros ya estamos en la fase de conexión con los módulos. --- ## Post #5 by @victorcarabez Only add a AAA host to your ECC Server IP Address on AD DNS Server (if you use Active Directory) and a AAA host to your ECC Server Public IP Address (may need firewall rules) on DNS Server (Internet).
