Epicor data / reports to SharePoint

I'm not 100% certain on this, but could you use the Replication Server feature of Epicor 9 to replicate the Progress db to an MS SQL db and then use SSRS for your web based reports ?.

We have a number of graphical Crystal reports looking at our Epicor 9.04 database. We are keen to make these visible on our SharePoint site, so that they can be viewed directly in the web browser without requiring any Crystal viewer to be installed on the client.

Does anyone have any advice on either displaying Crystal reports in SharePoint or getting the data directly from Epicor?

Thanks,

Scott Baker
I can't comment on the Crystal side of things, but if with Epicor 9 you're running MS SQL then it's so easy to create reports in SSRS and publish them on SharePoint.

The above is one of the many reasons why I prefer MS SQL to Progress all the time.

Unfortunately we havent tested this feature yet, we are maybe a few months off before we will be attempting to do so.

I should have mentioned that we are on Progress - are you aware of any options for this?

Thanks,
