Hello all. We are exploring options to resolving an issue we’ve been having with our Epicor EDI process for about a year and a half now. One of the options we’re exploring is bringing in a third-party consulting company to help us resolve it.
Long story short, we noticed that our EDI files were no longer processing correctly into Epicor, seemingly at random. Some would come in just as they should, some won’t update according to the latest file (as if there was a missing link between where we store incoming files and Epicor), etc. We worked with EpicCare as much as we could on this. They seem to think that we experienced a bug that messed with the process. They state that the only way to resolve this issue, is to update to a newer version where this bug is “fixed”. We are exploring this option but would also like to see if there are some other possible resolutions.
Does anyone have any recommendations of consulting companies that have more expertise on this side of Epicor? There are so many consulting groups out there that I’m just having a hard time narrowing them down!
Of course, if anyone else has also experienced this, I’m open to other ideas as well!
