Epicor Manifest is not showing the negotiated or discounted FedEx LTL rate during shipment

We are currently running Epicor 10.1.400.38 and Manifest 3.5.0.5501. During FedEx LTL shipment (via FedEx Freight Economy), the rate that’s coming through during shipment in the daily published rate which is very high. For example a 1,500 pound crate has a billing rate of $4,955.41. The actual invoice rate or negotiated discount rate should be $516.

Does anyone have any experience with this issue? I welcome your feedback and any suggestions?

Thx,

In Manifest, check the config of the Default Rate Basis.

it’s on the carrier setup under facilities.

From the help file:
Default Rate Basis:
This pull down is used to define the Default Rate Basis. For LTL Carriers it is recommended ‘List’ is used.

You can add a discount percent to adjust the rate.

Thank you. Do you know if this is for Manifest 3.5.0.5501?

We just tried your suggestion and it did NOT work. We also tried a default rate of “Customer” and that did NOT work either.

We are using FedEx as the LTL Carrier. Is there a special setup for this or do we need to use the LTL Carrier?

According to Epicor support, Manifest version 4.0.5 corrects this reported problem.

Thanks for updating the post, I thought this should have been working for you.

We just upgraded our Manifest testing environment to 4.0.5 and plan to conduct testing soon.

All is well with testing. Deployed into production and everything worked.
