Epicor Mobile Warehouse Issues

We are having some trouble with EMW at one of our sites which is located in Toluca, Mexico. Our instance is cloud hosted, from what I have found in Iowa. The users at this site frequently say that the app is slow, freezes frequently and the it will take 2 minutes sometimes to move inventory. Has anyone else seen similar issues?

It seems like the app works fine most of the time but they are having intermittent issues. So far we have not been able to track down the issue. They are on a fiber internet plan and everything else we use and every service we have tested has worked fine.

I was questioning if it could be an issue with latency but it has been consistently around 50ms the entire time. Do you think the issue could be caused by the latency? All of our other sites in the U.S. don’t have any issues but the latency to our instance at those sites is usually around 20ms. We have not found anything in the logs from the handhelds yet.

We’ve got an open case (CS0005208321) with these repro steps, it sounds pretty similar.

  1. Open the Move Inventory screen.
  2. Scan the Part Number.
  3. Change the Quantity.
  4. Change the From or To Warehouse and Bin.
  5. Click Process.

I was able to get the transaction to go through by entering the same data, then going into the Reference field (don’t have to enter anything into the Reference field), and finally clicking Process.
