Epicor Mobile Warehouse / Job Pick List

Hello!

We are looking to streamline our inventory operations. Currently our pickers print out this long job pick list, around 30 pages and walk the isles with that, scanning as they go. They then “issue” build/split/ merge to a PCID.

We utilize Epicor Mobile Warehouse, so I’m not sure why they are printing these out. We are thinking of replacing those with the tablet Data collection, so they can view all the information at once and issue directly from Data collection.

Any thoughts around this? What do you all do?

Mixed bag. Paper picklists in pick and pack (1s and 2s, smallparcels)…no EMW in that area. We do use EMW in the main warehouse…build/ship via PCIDs (pallets)…but I think we’re also still sending the paperwork out in case there are any special instructions/details/etc. Average order size is maybe 4 lines but we do have a few customers where it can be 30-40 on a single order.
