We just turned on Replication server. Took 4 days for replication server to build the tables and fill them with data, but that is another problem. Now, post replication, our SQL server is EXTREMELY slow... We are seeing much slower query times since we started with Replication. For an example, a stored procedure that I developed ran less than 5 seconds before. Now, it just took 8 minutes. All reports are much, much slower. I realize that replication wiped out our indexes and keys from the db tables, but I wouldn't think that would affect it THAT much. Can anyone offer up any suggestions or ideas? Has anyone else experienced this, and overcome it?
Thanks!!
