I love listening to the podcast and reading topics to see the issues and solutions on this forum.

As someone who lurks here trying to learn Kinetic and post when I have issues, I think a podcast discussing the issues we face when converting classic to Kinetic would be awesome. Go over the gotchas when converting, best practices that have worked for people. I know all of the information is on this forum, but I think a lot of people would be interested in having a discussion around the topic since classic is going away.

*Converting classic Dashboards with trackers, parameters, etc… I can’t use the Taming the dashboard dragons it won’t install on my version.

*Security groups

*C# or VB scripting to functions

*MES custom conversion

  • Expand on the Security Groups suggestion by moving to Modern Security with OAuth/OpenID.
  • Utilizing Local AI
  • System Resilience in the age of Cloud ERP
  • Responsible Disclosure. What can we users do to protect our assets?

Performance tuning Epicor Kinetic would be a good topic.

Any type of customer-led session would be great. Would be interesting to know how others implemented/use some features, such as Advanced UOM for example. Those session would be a little less technical oriented and may be accessible to more people.

App Studio UX is so terribly unproductive, get connors back on to tell how internally they are CI/CD’ing MetaUI json.

He is no longer with Epicor unfortunatelly, however we can probably ask someone else to step in and help.
