I had a problem similar to this and I found the user had set the
dashboard to auto populate while the dashboard was auto loading already.
Clearing the user option fixed the problem.

Subject: [Vantage] error on form startup
Hello,
I created a dashboard in vantage and for a single user, when the
dashboard is loaded, an object reference error pops up. No other user is
having this issue. I suspect that the temp files for vantage need to be
cleared out. Anyone remember where this folder is located?
Thanks,
Kunal
