Error Printing Reports

Yes they were able to get it resolved. The user did not have the proper version of Crystal Runtime.

Thanks,

Dustin Biniek

Did you find resolution of this problem? What did you do to fix?

I have a user that just recieved a new computer and is having some issues when printing reports.  Custom reports created via an ODBC connection seem to be processing fine, however when attempting to run out of the box reports such as the "Production Detail Report" and "Purchase Order Form" the reports are erroring out. The error message states: Error in file C:\users\\mmhiet~AppData\Local\Temp\POForm{30D37530-2ADB-4D61-AED3-0A7E15B60bCA}.rpt: The request could not be submitted for background processing.

I've checked to ensure that both the ODBC connections and Crystal Runtime have been loaded onto the workstation. Any thoughts on why this is erroring out?

Thanks,
 Dustin Biniek

Dustin, just this ONE user?

Can you confirm this user has a folder on the server under
\\VANTAGESERVER\mfgsysdata\reports
<file:///\\VANTAGESERVER\mfgsysdata\reports>

I have a user that just recieved a new computer and is having some
issues when printing reports. Custom reports created via an ODBC
connection seem to be processing fine, however when attempting to run
out of the box reports such as the "Production Detail Report" and
"Purchase Order Form" the reports are erroring out. The error message
states: Error in file
C:\users\\mmhiet~AppData\Local\Temp\POForm{30D37530-2ADB-4D61-AED3-0A7E1
5B60bCA}.rpt: The request could not be submitted for background
processing.

I've checked to ensure that both the ODBC connections and Crystal
Runtime have been loaded onto the workstation. Any thoughts on why this
is erroring out?

Thanks,
Dustin Biniek

Vic,

Yes, just this one user.

And yes, there is a folder for this user on the server.

Is folder permission set correctly? How about permissions on the Client803
folder on PC?
