Error when picking a Ship To on a Sales Order

Hi Blake,

Are other customers seeing the same thing and just not reporting it? You may check to see with another customer.

In APM Administrator, check the Rendering Options for the document type to make sure the color depth it is set to 1bpp. Check also that your APM print driver is set to letter 8x11 and not legal 8x14.

Hopefully, these will help resolve the issue.

I've an open support call with Epicor in the UK, however, they're busy at the moment so my call has been bounced to the USA and so far I've had no response, so I thought I'd post here and see if anyone else has ever had this problem.

We've a sales order that has been populated with all of it's details, that has not yet shipped and we need to assign a new Ship To to it. After searching and selecting the correct ID I get this error when I save the sales order...

Sales rep EXPORT is invalid
(Method: validateSalesPersons)

... and I've gone over the order, and the salespersons on the header (checked via Work Force Entry)and can see nothing wrong.

Does anyone have any ideas ?.

Thanks.
Clive, check the sales rep and/or territory on the Ship To. Is it the same as the Sold To? If the territory and/or sales rep on the Ship To is different from the Sold To are there proper authorizations set up on that workforce
 ID?
Â
Sometimes the Sold to sales rep/territory are not in sync with the Ship To. Try re-syncing the two or check to see if the territory is correct but the salesperson is not whether or not that sales rep is assigned to that territory on the Ship To

Hi Mark,

With the insight you provided in your post I worked out that some users are not setting the salesperson on the ship to on customers, and it was this that was the problem.

Thanks for your help, something that over the past 4 1/2 working days Epicor could not provide!.

Thanks.

Clive.

Glad to hear that it helped. Sometimes its the little things like that which are the hardest to troubleshoot!
