Errors opening customer maintenance

Do you have any customizations/personalizations on that screen(s) Try going into customization maintenance and see if there is a fail status related to any customizations/personalizations and try to verify or force validation

Vista 8.03.403

We have a user who, when trying to open customer maintenance intermittently gets one of the two following error messages:

The following application error was encountered:
Error creating window handle.

Or

Launch Error
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation

When the error message occurs, it results in shutdown of Vista on his workstation. This problem only occurs with one user, though he is probably the user who most often uses customer maintenance. Usually, when he gets back into Vista, the error does not immediately recur, though sometimes it does.

Can anyone clue me in about how to fix this?
