Errors when export from Crystal

In case you haven't already: I've found the CR hotfix patches from their
site to be critical for 8.5. If you are running 8.5 straight from box it
may be pretty buggy.

I'm wondering if anyone can guess why I keep getting error messages when
I try to export from Crystal 8.5 Designer to Excel. Sometimes I get the
Win200Pro error that says there was an error in CR32.exe. Then Crystal
shuts down immediately. Other times Crystal just shuts down with no squeaks
or squaks. This happens after clicking the Export icon (the envelope), then
selecting Excel (any version, it doesn't matter), selecting Application (or
To File, it doesn't matter), then clicking OK. I can get it to export about
25% of the time. The rest of the time it crashes. Very frustrating.

Does anyone know if there is a fix/bug in this?

I recently reinstalled CR 8.5 after installing a new hard drive. I applied
the CR8.5 that I have had for about a year or more.
