eStoreFront 3.2 Setup Question

Paul,

I believe you have your e's mixed up. eCommerce StoreFront integrates with
eManufacturing 5.00.
eFrontOffice (formerly known as Clientele) will not be available as a
integration to eManufacturing 5.00 but will be to eManufacturing 5.1.

Wow...
We did not know that.
If eStoreFront 3.2 is not fully tested under progress database
(vantage5) and web server (sql & eStoreFront 3.2), we would not have
ordered the cd...

I talked to Nancy (eStoreFront 3.2 support) and she did not mention
any of this. However, she has been helping with setting up
eStorefront 3.2 and Bridge program.
Right now, I am at testing synchronization between eManufacturing 5
(progress database) and eStorefront 3.2 (SQL database).

Thanks for your input.

Has anyone tried to set up eStoreFront 3.2?
Have you been sucessful?
I would love to hear your success story...
Also if anyone has any idea how Vantage 5 and eStoreFront(SQL 7
database) communicate with each other, I would really appreciate it.

Our background....
<Testing Environment>

v5Test: eManufacturing database 5.00.
It has been running 2 weeks. So far so good.
eStore: NT server 4.0 with sp6a, IE5, IIS4, Site Server Commerce 3.0,
SQL 7 database with sp2.

What we are trying to do here is to see how Vantage5 and eStoreFront
3.2 work together - a true automated e-commerce web site that
connects to the existing internal Vantage database...
For those who are interested, just prepare that Vantage Tech support
will redirect issues to somewhere in CA. It seems we are the first
company who has tried to get some support on eStoreFront 3.2.

I am a Progress user, but my account rep has told me that the interface to eManufacturing won't be available until v.5.1 this summer.
