Export Utility (v5.00)

Lonnie, I embedded this into an If Then statement and it worked perfectly,
thanks alot. I can now put much more info into queries in the "Shop Vision"
and save more reports, exports, ODBCs and whatever other method we find to
meet requests for special info (and kill trees). I didn't think Progress
functions such as this would work here, but this one did, so maybe all of
them are available.

thanks again,

Jerry,

I don't use the export utility, so I may be way off base, but you
might try the Progress function..
index(SearchWithinString,SearchForString) > 0
For example, index(part.partnum,"abc") > 0 would be true for part
123abc45.

In Report Builder filters we can use an '*' as an universal character. This
does not seem to work in the export utility. Is there another character
that can be used as universal in the export utility ? Or should the '*' work
?
