Express Checkout in Kinetic Part Maintenance Opens Wrong Revision

On 2025.2.16 in Base Layer of Part Maintenance, if I select Revision C and I choose Express Checkout, it incorrectly opens Revision 0.

Even if I open the Part Revision C record and do Express Checkout from there it still incorrectly opens Revision 0.

For a second while loading I can actually see it flash to show Rev 0 then it opens Express Part Checkout

Has anyone else noticed this issue? Or is there something I am missing? In Classic UI it properly opens the selected revision.

Should I put in a support ticket for this behavior?

Yes, put in a ticket. The more who report it the better. We’ve observed the same thing.

Even when doing a regular checkout, you need to be careful.

In the part record, if I select Rev 1… and click the Check Out Revision button…

The slider opens… but the first Rev 0 is the one selected:

You have to manually select Rev 1 again before actually checking it out to get the right one into your ECO group.

I was about to say, pretty sure someone mentioned that the UI changes the focus to a rev that contradicts what you were originally trying to check out and if you’re not careful and notice the change, you’ll check out the wrong rev.

Update from Epicor Support:

Nice. Hopefully we’ll be able to test 2026.1 in the next few days.

But again, even using the suggested “work-around”, you need to makes sure you manually select the correct revision again when the Checkout slider opens. It defaults to row0 and you may still inadvertently pull the wrong revision into your ECO group.

Confirmed normal checkout works in 2026.100.5 (we don’t use express):
