Field Service Module; VB button, templates, call number look-up, ge

To anyone who currently has the Field Service module;

1) Is there a way to enter VB From information in the call header field?
The button is there, but it is greyed out.... I would like to be able to
assign a field to enter at least the customer's PO# for a service job, so it
could be queried later on....

2) Why can't I copy the information of a previous service job to a new job;
similar to what you would do with a normal production job. I can make the
service job a template, but it is not listed with the other templates when
creating a new job....

3) This one is more a wish; it would be great for us to be able to lookup a
service call simply by call number. Right now service reps are trying to
locate a service call by looking up Customer ID or Ship ID, from there they
have to browse either the opened or closed calls section, or both. If we
can pull up info by call number, then we could also give this number to our
customers in case they have to call back at a later date and reference the
call.

4) Rather than selecting purchased/manufactured, manufacture/service,
open/closed, engineered/not engineered, released/not released in the various
lookup screens, couldn't we reflect this info in the detail screen of a part
or job screen, rather than assuming an operator has this type of knowledge
when looking up a part or a job? Or better yet, have check of boxes in the
look up window, if they want those criteria to be part of the query)


Hopefully someone else has encoutered these same things, and can give me an
idea of how they approach some of these issues....
