I want the combo Salesperson fields that pull down to only show active salespeople in forms like the Order Entry and Quote Entry, etc. I thought I would be able to do it with a rule but the "inActive" field isn't available. Maybe there is just some easy setting that I'm missing rather than a customization. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Emily
You might try putting zzz in front of the names.
THis would push them to the end of the list.
I have used quick searchs in the past to filter out inactive resources, etc, when you click the search button. Pull downs are a little different.

Emily,

I don't know what version you are on, but if you go into customization mode and look at each of the "SalesPerson" pulldown controls' properties, look for a property line called "Search Filter". If you enter (don't include quotes) "InActive=False" and, on the following properties line titled "Value Member" enter "SalesRepCode", save it as a customization (and menu activate it), the users should not be able to select (or even see) SalesReps that are not Active.

If you find the app already set up like this and it is NOT preventing InActive SalesReps from being sleceted, report it to Epicor and get Support to get a SCR going for it (for whatever version you are on).

Rob
