Final Op: on the Dates section of Job Entry

I have 2 specific parts that I am having an issue with the Final Op: Date field not filling on the Date section in Job Entry.

The Start / Due dates are filled in on the Detail tab of this operation which makes this even more confusing

I am thinking this is part specific because these are the only 2 parts I am having this issue with. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what to look at in the Part Maintenance of these parts to figure out why these are acting this way?

You have to set that operation as the final op. In The Job Entry screen go to Details > Operations > Detail. Look at the bottom right for Final Operation. Check it off so that scheduling knows this is the final op.

@NateS The last op is defaulted to be the final op if none is marked, but you are correct that marking would be a way to force Epicor to see it.

@rnlac211 If you mark the op as final and reschedule does it for the issue?

I checked the final op and I get an Error

What is this telling me? Epicor Error messages are so vague.

Can you show the details of that error? I am not sure if it is related, but is there a chance you have a constrained material on this operation?

There are no material constraints for this job.

I think you have found the smoking gun.

Thank you for this information. We are able to force the job to be closed but the original question still remains the problem. What on the part maintenance level of this specific part is set or not setup properly for the job scheduling to recognize the Final operation schedule date??

If the jobs themselves were not edited then you are possibly looking at PartRev with a FinalOpr value of an operation that does not exist.

Like @gpayne said, I think this is not at the part level, it is at the MOM level. Look into engineering workbench at your approved revs. Make sure the approved rev has the operations setup correctly.

Thank you all for your input and help on this matter. I did some testing and sucess was had. We checked the Final operation check box on the operation in the MOM and this fixed the problem.
Problem solved
