Financial consolidation

Shawn-

I believe you are looking to run "COMBINED" statements (I assume you are
like us and have 2 separate companies within the same Vantage database
and DO NOT have the Multi-Site module). Change the REPORT FORMAT from
"COMPANY" to "COMBINED" and select the other companies you wish to
include (the "COMPANIES" button on the right hand side becomes active
when you select "COMBINED").

Hope this helps. We are on 6.10.514

Thanks!

Rick Ludwig

I am investigating the possibility of consolidating financials from two
separate companies within our Vantage database. There seems to be two
possibilities- 1) Purchase and implement the Multi-Site module from
Epicor(expensive) or 2) Using report builder or an export utility,
consolidate the data manually. Is there anyone out there consolidating?
If so how are you doing it, what are your recommendations?

Shawn,

You may want to look at the following third-party products available through
Epicor:

FRx (
http://www.epicor.com/www/products/manufacturing/vantage/modules/fr.htm
<http://www.epicor.com/www/products/manufacturing/vantage/modules/fr.htm> )
Open Active Planner (
http://www.epicor.com/www/products/manufacturing/vantage/modules/pl.htm
<http://www.epicor.com/www/products/manufacturing/vantage/modules/pl.htm> )

We do not use either of them here, so I cannot comment on their usefulness.
