I am looking to build more robust and custom tailored financial reports for my company and was wondering if anyone would be willing to give me some input on how they approach this?
We want something that goes beyond what the financial report designer can offer us. I have built a lot of reports in the past for other areas of the system but have never dove into financial report creation so I am not very experienced in that area and I am not a finance person so my knowledge of that area is limited to what I’ve picked up over the years doing Epicor work.
I am considering a PowerBi setup but I am not sure how to structure the financial data in a BAQ or via API calls properly.
We aren’t totally against an add on to Epicor but we would like to explore what we could build in house first.
Any insight would be much appreciated and helpful. Thank you!
