Fire service connect with BPM

Problem solved. Actually needed to install the .NET 2.0 SP2 update.
Installed the service pack, rebooted, and the links worked. Thanks!

You'll need to make sure that IIS is running and configured properly so
that the web service endpoints are configured and available so that
these URLs work (which are setup as part of the SC installation):

http://<hostname>/BPMIntegroupService/
http://<hostname>/WorkflowWebServices/

and although it doesn't matter to get things running, but is part of the
SC setup:

http://<hostname>/TaskMonitor/

where <hostname> is the hostname you've given to Vantage. Basically I
think Vantage builds these URLs to try to talk to Service Connect. Given
that you're getting a 404 Not Found, something in IIS isn't setup
properly. I could send the configs for those three virtual directories,
but basically you need to make sure you're using the right name to talk
to your web server, and that its configured properly.

It's asking for the name of your SC Server and a SC logon. The user and
PW
will be what ever you use to log into the admin console most likely
unless
you set up an account in SC just for BPM.

The hostname, username, and password of your Service Connect server. The default username is 'admin' with no password. Service Connect has its own authentication database.

I'm assuming your web services are available?

On the Service Connect server find:

C:\epicor\mfgsys803\WebServices\WS-Configuration (.Net 2.0 Edition).exe

Run it.

Look in the bottom left window pane in "Installed Items".

Ensure the service you are calling is installed.

If it already is, click on the check box "Reinstall All" and then
"Update Site". You need to do this after each Epicor SP install.

To add to what brian said which is all correct be sure that your
BPMIntegrationService is located in your default web site, it is
possible thru upgrading versions of service connect to end up with two
different web sites within IIS.

Also don't forget about your host file
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and have your IP address set for
scshost in your service connect server.
