Forcast cash flow

Cool, let me know how the time machine is coming along, I had to build our
crystal ball using two MSChart OCX controls in a Progress window.

In a nutshell: The first Chart shows all the InvcHead.InvoiceBal &
InvcHead.Posted = YES, ShipHead.Invoiced = FALSE, and OrderRel.OpenRelease =
TRUE broken down by weeks out 6 months plus late. The second chart shows
all APInvHed.OpenPayable = TRUE & APInvHed.InvoiceBal <> 0, RcvDtl.Invoiced
= FALSE, PORel.OpenRelease = TRUE & PORel.ReceivedQty < PORel.RelQty brokend
down by weeks plus 90, 60, 30 day lates. It takes about 5 minutes to
process, but the result is two viewable bar charts in Vantage (cash-in [top
half of screen] and cash-out [bottom half of screen] by week for the next 6
months). The program also dumps the data extracted to create the charts
into two CSV files which they use to pull into Excel and generate pivot
tables and such.

I've been using my crystal ball while building my time machine.

You can get somewhat close for a week, starts getting fuzzy at two weeks.
Monthly would be a great exercise for a young intern with nothing else to
do, and some comic relief to laugh about six months later.........I guess
I'm a little jaded by the owner sending me a note about the 400m he spent
while I was on vacation......the joys of small business, you might have a
little more 'structure' than we do. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try! Make
that a lot of guesses......
