Does anyone know how to test a configurable part in a BPM for a sales order to make sure that it has been configured? What I am worried about is someone entering a configurable item into a Sales Order and then forgetting to configure it. Then it slips through the cracks and ends up on a job. I would like to write a BPM to prevent this, but I can't quite figure out how to test for this. If I could figure out how to test to see if the part is a configurable part then I could check the OrderDtl.BasePartNum to see if it matches OrderDtl.PartNum since we create new part numbers in our configurator.
