Works like a charm. Thank you and my users thank you as well.

I had this same problem. It is a pain that you set all the formating
for the grid in customizations but then nothing seems to save. You
can put this code in the Load Event and it should do the trick. Hope
this helps.

'----Get Control of the Vantage Grid Item
Dim eugMileStones As EpiUltraGrid =
Ctype(csm.GetNativeControlReference("f3c57ba9-bc37-48f7-951b-d7c1c266ed7
0"),EpiUltraGrid)

'Set Formating for the Grid Field
eugMileStones.DisplayLayout.Bands(0).Columns("Number01").Format =
"###,##0.00"

I have been attempting to assign a format and input mask to a UD field
in a grid list. I have discovered it will work as long as I am in the
customization but once I exit and come back to the program the
formatting is lost. It appears to me those options are not saved as
part of the customization. At least I cannot find them in customization
maintenance.

I was hoping someone has a code snippet they would share where this has
been done. My users would really like to see a sales order number in
the format of 1234567 instead of 1,234,567.00. I don't blame them
either.

Thanks in advance,
