And continuing the theme of bugs that Epicor refuses to accept, there is an inconsistency in the logic for SourceType that should be fixed:

In my ideal world, the solution would go further, and you would be able to have transfer-direct orders just like you can have purchase-direct orders. But for now the least that they could do is stop putting the releases is the wrong site. This causes no end of confusion. At this point we have had to stop using the non-stock flag on transfer parts since it can’t be made to work properly.

Yes please. We have EDI HQ and Demand Management. We do a lot with big-box retail, fixed set of DCs/warehouses. Mod already built to store a default ship-to site/warehouse setting within Kinetic OR passed through in the EDI HQ .APP files. Running into trouble especially with dropships where Plant values in OrderRel/PartDtl/DemandDetail are falling out of sync.

(BTW - new poster. Go easy on me.)

I’m late to the party but, speaking of bugs that turn into Epicor Ideas…

I’m not sure how failing to validate data is not a bug. Please vote for this if you like data validation and database integrity.

They aren’t bugs, they are as-yet-unfulfilled enhancement opportunities.

Always gonna vote for improved data integrity! And urge patience with support, because supporting client side data integrity management feels like this when nothing is going wrong:

i do not know why but that truck never actually hitting the pipe really bothers me. Like it makes my eyes twitch. :grimacing:
