Funny thing happened on the way to the Time Phase

We had a similar sort of issue way back after Epicor converted us from DCD-Classic. There was another table that a Part referenced that was missing an entry for the value on the part record and the lookup browsers and trackers ignored records altogether. The browsers are nortorius for dropping things that don't link completely. Perhaps the PO has a status/type/group, etc.... type field that has to validate against other tables that has a value missing? You might be able to verify all of them with a few quick & dirty RB reports. If something comes up ? then create an entry and see of the PO starts showing up.

That is what I am afraid of, but this is the only part I have found
that has this problem, including other parts on the same legacy
order. I was hoping for a "oh, check this" response.

I have a part on a PO that does not show up on the Time Phase
screen. I can go directly from the line on the PO Tracker to the
Time Phase, but the PO is not listed. There are other parts on the
same PO which work fine and there are receipts of the same part that
show up on the Trans. History. You can also use the Sort By
function on the PO Tracker to find the PO that way.

Is there anything you can think of that would cause this? This is a
legacy PO that was ODBC'ed into Vantage, but I have not seen this
problem during the 4 months since going live.

Thanks,

From your description, it sounds like a data conversion/loading
problem. The Time Phase report uses a database table called PartDtl
versus the PO related tables (POHeader,PODetail,PORel). It sounds
like the corresponding PartDtl records were not loaded/creatd to
match your open PORel records. I would double check with the person
that handled the data loading. Hope this is helpful.
