FW: Production Calendar problem

Thanks for the tip, Todd-this may solve a little problem here, too.

Jim,

Under "Database Conversions" on your system menu. Look for "Build Shop Load
File" and run it. Make sure no one is in "Visual scheduling". This
typically takes 2-8 minutes to run and will scratch your shop load file and
rebuild it.

I've been running this utility on a regular basis from the dawn of creation.
Under V3 I ran it about once a week and under V4 about once a month. V4 is
much better at keeping the load file correct while V3 was noted for having
ghost images in the load file.

Best explanation I received was that when jobs are closed or other changes
are made not ALL of the Vantage programs update the shop load file correctly
so a periodic rebuild sometimes does wonders.

Good Luck,

Todd Anderson

Hello,

Now, after looking at my shop load reports, I have discovered that my
information is being saved. The problem is there is no visual display of
the changes on the Production Calendar. Meaning, days that have less hours
scheduled than the normal capacity, do not turn the color blue. In
addition, holidays do not turn color to white. This must be a technical
issue, but if it is not, please let me know. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
