FW: Reports - No Records Selected

In case anyone starts using the status balloons and gets frustrated because the times disappear in Task History tab... SCR94566 is targeted for 701 to fix this.

As a workaround, uncheck the options if you need to see what was running at a specific time and can't find it in the list before the screen refreshes :)

Here's how to get notified when that happens:
1. Open System Monitor (i.e. "blue hamburger").
2. Go to Actions, then Status Balloon Properties.
3. Click on "Popup on Report Errors".
4. Now when you run a report that has "No Records Selected" (or any other error) you will see a popup box in the lower right of your screen. It looks similar to an Outlook notification.

Of course, you can also set it to notify you when reports are successful or processes are or are not successful.

Hopefully others will find this useful too.

If I remember correctly the user has to have configuration rights to select the checkbox. Configuration rights can be removed one the box is checked.
