# FW: Screen hangs

<div id="ygrps-yiv-1824196373">We just installed patch 904 for Version 4.0 two weeks ago.  The week<br/>
following we also started experiencing screen hangs, at first it was just<br/>
one or two stations, but now it has spread to almost every workstation.<br/>
Some freeze the workstation and require a re-boot to get going again, while<br/>
other times we can do an Alt-Ctrl-Delete and end the task (we are using NT<br/>
4).<br/>

I talked with Vantage support; one person told me I should have put patch 44<br/>
on for progress 9.0 as well.  I talked to support a second time and the 2nd<br/>
tech said I just needed to re-boot our server.<br/>
<br/>
I intend to do both this weekend.<br/>
<br/>
Anyone one else have any suggestions?????????<br/>
