PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Service Contract Header Entered date changes back to system date.

PROGRAM ID: FS/FSE10-hd.w

SOFTWARE AND DATABASE INFO: Vantage 6.10.521 on MNTECH

STEPS TO DUPLICATE:
1. FS > GO > Service Contract Entry.

2. Contract > Add Contract to the Service contract header screen.

3. The Entered date defaults to today's date / System Date.

4. Change it to a different date, say a few days in the past.

5. Select a vendor in the Sold To and click OK to save.

6. Click contract > Update Contract back to this screen.

7. The Entered Date has incorrectly changed back to today's date /
System Date. It should retain the date you change it to above.

8. Or if it is meant to always stay with the System Date from when a
user enters it, then it should be dimmed out and not available for
change.

9. See this on MNTECH 6.10.521, Vantage, Service Contract 154. Or
with any other new one that is added.

VERSION NUMBER: 6.10.521

ADDITIONAL INFO:

RESPONSE FROM PROGRAMMING:
SCR 21884

Since at least Vantage 5.00, the Service Contract Header Maintenance
program (fs/fse10-hd.w) has not let a user change the entry date since
that is the date when the contract was entered into the computer. But
the field is enabled, leading users to think that they can change it.
The field needs to be disabled since it is not user-maintainable.
