As far as I know, Vantage considers each revision a different part, even
though the part number remains the same, and it will not transfer any
production details from one revision to another. You have to manually enter
them for each rev.

make a qty adjustment in a job - to take in account excess parts from a
previous job. Now I have noticed that I have the same PROBLEM when only the
rev letter!!??
