FYI - Price List Functionality Enhancements

The following piece of functionality will be added in the 5.10.130 patch and
the 5.20.210 patch.

This piece of functionality will allow you to enter a price list with a $0
base unit price. The system will find the appropriate price list according
to the existing hierarchy (customer then customer group). If it finds a
valid price list, it then looks at that list's base unit price. If the base
unit price is $0, it will take the break percentage from the list and then
continue down the heirarchy looking for the next valid price list to find a
base unit price. It will go all the way back to the part's selling unit
price field if it can't find any base unit price greater than $0. If the
part master's selling unit price is $0 then that is what will be used.

This will probably be most useful in terms of setting up price lists by
product group but also has other applications where you're starting price
(base unit price) is the same. You can set up a price list with your
quantities and breaks but leave the base unit price at zero and set the
selling unit prices to what the base price should be.

Also, is anyone still using the old Customer Price Breaks in 5.1 or 5.2? If
so, could you respond off list as to why?

Thanks,
Tim
