Betty,

The reason there is not a G/L account available for the Reason Code of SCRAP is
because it is used to report and expense an item on the Job it was
scrapped/issued.

If you are wanting to scrap items from your inventory that are not assigned to a
specific Job, then you may need to create a new Reason Code under Inventory
Adjustment and send it to the correct G/L Account. Don't forget about the
Reference field during the Inventory Adjustment process -- you can add an
additional note.
