Global Alerts Forefront + SMTP?

Thanks Zac,

I am brand new to ForeFront, My solution was to add the Vantage server IP address to the "IP addresses allowed to relay" receive connector in Forefront.

No completely familiar with forefront, but if its like exchange 2007 or newer you need to setup an SMTP connector that allows for anonymous access/relay. Then you need to add the IP of the Epicor server to it.

We just installed Forefront for Exchange 2010. Vantage Global alerts log shows the following: cSMTPResponse 530 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated. What's the best way to configure Forefront for global alert processing?
