Global Parts not consistent

Sal,

So far the only response I've gotten is a Word document that tells me
how to set up the Sonic connection and put the Multi-Company process
on the Startup schedule. THAT works, to the tune of >335 parts that
do link properly. Why some of these others don't continues to elude
me. I'll be happy to settle for something basic, like part numbers
and descriptions, even.

Somewhat frustrating, this. It's reaching a point where I'm almost
ready to get someone to just re-type the darn things in the child
company. Can't be any slower than what's going on now...

I am running 405a on SQL. We have two companies, and one of those
companies [the parent] has multiple plants. Some of the parts are
manufactured at one plant, and then transferred to the other for final
assembly [most of them] or shipping to the repair depot [the other
company]. Problem is, the multi-plant parts don't populate the child
company when the multi-company process runs. They're marked as
global, and I've even asked 'pretty please'. No error messages in the
logs, either. Just plain nothing.

I have a call into support on this, but thought I'd ask here again, in
case anyone's encountered this, or something similar, or best of all,
a solution.

Thanks,

Hello Lynn,

I am having the same issue. After contacting support they said that
the Plant and the Revision tab information does not "link" over to
other Companies. Not built in the software. FRUSTRATING and makes no
sense why this functionality was not built in. Curious to hear if you
get the same response. I spoke with 3 separate Engineers.

Best Regards,
Sal
