Global Scheduling Order - Days Late

Good morning everyone,

I could use support better interpreting the days late column in “Adjust Global Scheduling Order.”

Example of Job A:

  • SchedSeq # = 50 (5th hottest job in the shop)
  • Not locked
  • Normal scheduling code
  • Red Due Date = 11/20/24
  • Epicor thinks it will finish (Due section) on 5/22/25
  • Days late = -99

I’m curious how this make sense. The due date is in the past, however, it’s saying that the job will finish 99 days early.

We are using backward infinite scheduling. Does that have something to do with it?

I read the manual on how days late was calculated. Does the value of 99 come from the “benchmark” which represents the job that is the earliest?

Thanks all!
Pat
