Tech Support at Seagate was able to help me get CWC working as a service as opposed to a process this afternoon (after 1 1/2 hrs. on the phone).

For me, the solution was to:

Go to the Control Panel/Services/Seagate Page Server/Startup

Under Log On As: check This Account,

** now here is where things depart from the book. The book says make a new user called Crystal Reports with a certain access. ** Instead, Tech Support had me enter my own username (I have administrator rights), and password.

After doing this, The service ran fine without the Looping Login problem.

I hope this works for some of you other folks.

P.S. Some of our larger reports still don't work with CWC because of how long they take. The server only has 128MB of ram and that is a problem. But at least some of the smaller reports without subreports are working fine now.
