Thanks, Gerry. This is how I went about it and everything came up
pretty quickly. The only thing I have to figure out now is why all of
my users say they are "Not Authorized" when attempting to receive or
ship.

Hello Tim. You'll need a wireless network on the shop floor. The
handhelds
will connect to the wireless network. I prefer the Microsoft Wireless
connection over the Intermec utility.

You then need a terminal server for your handhelds to connect to using
the
Remote Desktop. So one NIC on your terminal server needs to be connected
to
your shop floor, wireless network. And the terminal server has to have
the
Vantage client and be able to connect to your live Vantage server.

Then you set up handheld users in Active Directory. The users'
environment
settings should start the Vantage handheld application as follows:
C:\client803\client\MfgSys.exe -HH

I would start it in full screen.

That's pretty much it, I already had a terminal server running so all I
had
to do was put a wireless router on my shop floor and another nic in my
terminal server to access the wireless network.

You need to connect to something like a server with the Epicor client installed
from the HH unit via terminal services.

Then on the server where the client is installed you need to change the shortcut
parameter to have -HH after the target so it opens the link as the HH size.

We are using Intermecs - very reliable.

Tim, get into Shop Floor Employees and find that user login and ensure
they have the respective checkboxes checked on the right side of the
window.

MES/Shop Floor employee settings are propagated to the HH module.
