Are you a CM? Are they Customer Part numbers reference your part numbers or are they component parts?

Subject: [Vantage] Handling a customer with multiple part numbers

Hello all,

We have a potential customer with approximately 5000 different parts. Does Epicor have a simplified way to handle multiple parts being entered and processed in the system? Or do we have to enter each and every one of the parts one by one?

Epicor 905.702A
Progress 64bit

Thanks in advance,
Dennis

Dennis, do you mean a customer part cross reference? If you enter the customer part cross reference during sales order entry as an example, it will populate the customer part cross reference table and next time you enter that part for that customer it will display the customer part number. Or if you enter the customer part number it will display your part number in the order detail

If you want to import them, you can create a list view in the customer part cross reference table under Order Management/setup/customer part cross reference and paste them in. You could also use DMT or an updateable dashboard to populate the customer part cross reference table

Dennis
