Having Problems with labels

That would be appreciated.

In Crystal -

In Section Expert - width = 2 Height = .5

In Page Setup Horizontal = 2 Vertical = .5

Works fine

When printing from Print Preview -

Size Width = 2 Height = .50 - even when I rotate 180 degrees - nothing
prints.

Will also get in touch with Zebra at this time.

Thank you,

Cathy

I know the feeling, I remember I had a lot of trouble with these too.

Updated drivers for the Zebra?
Or have you looked to see if you can rotate using the clients Zebra printer
server settings?
I seem to remember doing this on an XP client, but it was tricky, the driver
had two places where it had to be set.
I know I made notes last time I set one up - if I can find them I'll forward
to you.

I created a label for Receiving. Through Receipt Entry > Actions > Print Labels.

I modified the Crystal Report, our label size is 2 inches wide and 1/2 inch in height.

I only have the part number on the label right now.

When I print from Crystal Reports (where I created the label) - the part number prints.

When I go through receipt entry and print, the label advances but, nothing prints.

I am hoping someone has the answer for me.

Thank you, Cathy
Now I am getting something when printing through Receipt entry.

However, Printing from Crystal it prints just fine - printing from Receipt
entry it prints like it needs to rotate 180 degrees -

Same report - 2 different results. How can this be fixed?

Thank you,

Cathy

Cathy,
What version of Crystal are you using? If it's CR2008, what I had to do was disassociate the report from the paper stock and put in the dimensions of my label. I also had to upgrade to SP4 on the viewer. At the time it wasn't supported by Epicor (only SP3) but that's the only way I could get my labels to print right. The label printing machine that had the upgraded viewer also printed job travels and sales order pick lists - no problems using SP4 instead of SP3.
Jenn
We have often had unwanted results using Crystal for labels. The best option is to set your default printer to the label printer you are using when you design your label...Make sure the size and orientation are what you need...Print it in Crystal and it should be good...Then, make sure your user who prints the actual label has the same size and orientation setup for the label printer (and if possible, make the label printer the default for the user too). Having everything matching seems to make it work. However, then for no reason (no changes made for example), the settings can go wacky too...So, you repeat the steps again.

Spoke to soon - just a bit Frustrated.

We are on Epicor 9.05.605 -

Printer Zebra GX430t

When I print from Crystal - the label is fine.

When I print from Epicor > Receipt > Actions > Print Labels - it changes
the orientation.

I am the only user right now.

Hope this helps.
