Help. I am adding a new company in it's own database.
I have set up the Progress Explorer tool with the database configuration
and the 3 app server configuration the same as the Pilot database.
(changed port numbers on Pilot)

Then I setup the mfgsys file in the client config folder.
then I setup the pf file in the server config folder.

It looks to start correct and log files are clean at that point.
When I try to log into the database using the new shortcut that points
to the new mfgsys file then I get and error message Unable to logon as
title of the error box and the contens of the error is Access Denied
(bo.userfile)

Anyone have a clue what I am missing?

Remember, since it is a new database, using your user id is useless.
MANAGER is the only one you can use.

You said you copied the settings from the Pilot db. Did you change all
the paths within the app servers' areas in Progress explorer? Meaning
when you right click and go to properties, there are settings within the
broker and agent that need to point to your new db.

Have you tried restoring it again?
