That's always a good feeling. I had our whole plant down for a couple hours on Tuesday because I typed in the wrong directory when doing a patch. It was amazing how many desks got cleaned up that have been messy for months...simply because people couldn't log into Vantage and had to find something else to do. :-)

I am installing the 904 patch on 4.0 and it looked like every thing went
fine, until I went to run the schema changes. When I click on the schema
change icon I get the following messages:
Temp Directory in the vtg file is not valid, it will be set to system temp
directory, when I hit ok to this I get:
Msgopen:unable to open message file:PROMSGS
I am very new to doing any installations and am panicked because it is close
to 5:00 AM and Vantage is down, and my shift starts at 6:00. Can anyone
help? You can email me direct or whatever.

Do a right-click on the "Schema Change.vtg" Icon, and edit. Change the
temp dir to "c:\vntgwork"... (if that is where your temp dir is)
