Mike, I attached a screen shot of the Epicor property maintenance screen.
Check the format field and see if it contains a x(50). I'm not sure if that
would limit the size in a customization but it might.

Looking at the Data Dictionary Viewer, the format for Part.Character01 is
x(1000). Is there someplace else that would limit this?

I am trying to add Part.Character01 to a new sheet in Part.entry. My problem is the customization is limiting me to 50 characters. Under EpiControl -EpiBinding I have Part.Character01. I create a label and attach it to the new Epitext box. When I save the customization, the system fills in under the under EpiBinding - Format = x(50) and Like = UD.key1 and under EpiControl - EpiContextMenuKey = UD02.key1 It will not let me change Format or Like. What causes this and how can I prevent it from happening?
