HELP Please! Blank Title 121236

What does the log file say? Is it stalling on the same part (or parts that have something shared that is set up wrong - like a method for a fab part with an inactive resource, an ultimately circlular (impossible to resolve) reference in your multi-level BOM structure (A made from B, B made from C, C made from A) - or is it something that would suggest slow, growing degradation of execution performance (that would require perhaps a dump and load needed, a drive going bad, or a growing live db (or use of new processes not used before) that might requiring retuining of server?

We are experiencing MRP hanging randomly again, it's starting to get more frequent. As usual support is barely helping, can anyone help me to figure this out please?

Thanks

Jason
What parameters are you running it with?

SQL or Progress? If SQL, have you applied all SQL tuning and other things
from Epicor?

How often do you run MRP? Are you doing a net change or a full regen? I agree with Vic, If you are using SQL, make sure you at minimal apply the SQL Tuning. We have had to do this in the past to keep our Processes at bay.

Do you have multiple plants? We had issues with make to job from other plants and we had issues with pull as assembly on items that had primary revision plant set to another plant than job pulling it. These both have hung our mrp in the past.
