Help Required ! Installation issues

You don't really need Epicor to do it, you just need someone who knows what
they are doing to do it.

Paul,

Chances are you are trying to install some piece on the C drive, which
should never ever be done, even though it defaults to the C drive, every
single installation should always be done to a secondary drive.

Good Day Paul:

Sun is implementing EPICOR 9, SQL (9.05.600B.2) with a 10/4 Go-Live
date. But is currently on
Manage-2000 (Informix not Unix)

What Verion of E9? 9.04 or 9.05
Are you SQL or Informix.
How many servers? 3? : Database, App, Misc(APM, Crystal, etc) Besides three
servers, do you have a Disc Array - Are you virtualized? With 64 bit Host
and at least one 32bit "Instance\Server"
How many users have you migrated your data.
Installation is very complicated. I believe you MUST have Epicor do it

1.There are three pieces to the SQL database
2. If 9.05 you need latest SQL version-- 2008 Enterprose I think.
3. OS version makes a difference.
4. 32 or 64 bit Hardware and OS.
5. Two parts need to remain 32 bit ( AOM and somehting else).
6. Since DB has three parts, each one must go to an appropriate
directory with needed space. That include correftly pointing to the
Disc-Array (if any)
7. How Raided is also important.

I think the 4.5 GB may not be less than the requirements ask for.

Good Day Paul:

Are you sure it is disc space problem, and not CPU memory?

Only latest versions of windows can make use of more then 8M of memory.
