Help Screens Blank Title 56071

Thanks Toby, Randall and Kathy. I had the same problem at the same time
on a new Vantage 6.1 test install. Works on W2K machines too.

I'm assuming it is XP. I'm also assuming you are on 6.1 or lower.

Go into the registry to subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp\1.x
Make a new key: ItssRestrictions
Right click on the new key (ItssRestrictions) and add a new DWORD value:
MaxAllowedZone
Modify the DWORD value and change to 4

Okay, I give up! I have just spent 2 hours searching for the fix and I
know it was in Epicor Eportal before.

I have a client machine that is not displaying the help screen. I have
fixed this on other machines and thought I had printed out the
instructions. However I can't find them. So I went back into eportal to
retrieve them and my search keeps coming up no match found!!!!!

Does anyone out there have the instructions on how to fix this problem?

Double click on the attached .reg file after unzipping it on the affected
machine. When the registry entry is changed, reboot the machine and you
will be able to display the help screens.
