We are on Vantage 5.1.126. We didnt see alot of difference between 4.0 and
5.0. The upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1 gave us several big changes that realy
helped us out.

I couldn't find that file; however, it runs well after I reinstall it.

By the way, what version of Vantage are you running? How do you like
it compare to 4.00.904?

I install Vantage 4.00.904 on win XP for 2 computers, 1 is running
well and the other gives me a error message when I click on any
functions like : invoice entry, shipment.... i use same userID...

the message : " A data collection user is not authorized to run this
program".

How can I fix this? Help...

I'll take a stab at this one. Check the VTG file that your using the launch
with. I would bet that there is a line in there that says something like
"Data Collection User = Yes". I cant remember the exact line that tells
Vantage that its a data collection users. We have been off of 4.0 for some
time. It should be something like that.
