They won't send you a free licence though that's a nice thought haha

If you call and yell they may have a one off , there is an SCR for this but I do not know what it is.

You can always do it the easy way and upgrade to 10.1 with a few thousand dollars worth of consulting, time and no headache at all *grin* (when and if 10.1 is released in the near or not near maybe never hopefully soon future give me a call then.... lol)

I'll take the compliment about knowing everything about Epicor as a positive... and not a reference to the endless hours of my life I will never get back :-D

PS: Moderator this is a joke and to be taken as such I am not actually requesting that Tyler pay me or hire me... put the angry email back in the draft folder this is all in good and healthy fun! :-)

Thanks guys.  You amaze me Jose, you seem to know everything about Epicor.  Do you know if Epicor has literature documenting this bug anywhere.  I'd like to call them, and try to get a free license to make up for the one we lose because I'm always being logged in twice.  It would be a lot more credible if I can point to a documented bug.

Until recently I've had the allow multiple users checkbox checked for my user.  Yesterday, we unchecked it.  This morning, when I tried to login, I got the following error: "Unexpected Error - See appserver logs."  If I try logging in as manager and then changing user to myself, I get the following error: "User tyler.leonard is only allowed one session.".

When I re-check the allow multiple sessions checkbox, I can log in without any problems.  So it seems like I'm always logged into a hidden session.  We can't see this session in the administrative console.  I spoke to Epicor and they said they've never seen this problem before.  Anyone have any ideas?  We're on version 905.701.
There used to be a bug not sure if on that version where the SystemMonitor registered is another session. That might be your issues (shooting for the hip though) I think that bug is fixed in 702A

Either the bug came back in 10.x.x.x or was never fixed.  In 10.0.700.4 we have it where we were told we must give everyone multiple session or they can’t print anything.  Maybe related to System Monitor?   Fortunately it does not seem to count as a license seat unless the user really does open a second session.  Like everything supposed to be fixed in 10.1.

Ok sounds good.  Yea it was meant as a compliment.  How were you able to learn everything, did you used to work for Epicor?  Do you make your living as an independent Epicor consultant?
On second thought you probably can't answer that here.  In any case, thanks for your help with this issue and past issues, it is greatly appreciated.
